One of the goals of the group is to help different groups within the community. They had been looking for an opportunity to help the Veteran's group in town and heard from a lodge member that assistance was needed for their Pancake and Porkie breakfast. The kids arrived around 8 am and began to help with the setting of tables as people came in. Another group was sent into the kitchen for dish duty. Yet another set of kids was tasked with clearing the tables. The kids got right to work and soon it became very busy for everyone. Over 500 people attended the event and everyone left full and happy. The Legion was very happy to have the help and we look forward to assisting them again next year!

All kids love to swim and this group is no exception! They all arrived at Tundra Lodge after school for a half day of swimming. About nine kids attended, some new and some who had been unable to attend in a while. The group had been selling candy bars and used some of their proceeds to fund a portion of this team building event. They swam for about four hours before they decided to get something to eat and then head home - another fun event for the YELL group!
