The group once again helped the lodge at the annual Join Hands Day event held at Maribel Caves. Unfortunately a tornado had destroyed most of the park in the fall of 2013 and the damage to the park was quite extensive. The local Boy Scout Troop, YELL group and Lodge 108 arrived at the park in the morning and began to clear the trails. Many of the paths were no longer recognizable and required chainsaws to clear. A huge brush pile was created in a center clearing which was burned by the park officials. Due to the work done by the volunteers on this day, the park was finally able to be opened to the public. The caves were opened later for the group to tour.

The YELL group once again helped their sponsor lodge with the Brat Fry held after the last day of school. It was a beautiful day and the youth helped with handling the money and food. A perfect way to cap off the school year!
So very proud of our YELL graduates. Many of these kids were the founding members of our little group and the journey over the last few years has been remarkable. Watching them grow into caring young adults has been so rewarding! Many graduated with honors and achieved their service medallion awards. Looking forward to what is ahead for these young ladies!
